Cape Town

We enjoyed riding the buses around Cape Town to see the different sites and sounds of a bustling cosmopolitan city. It reminded us somewhat of Europe: weather wise, people going out at 9p for dinner, eating breakfast late and the pavement cafes.  The people say they can have four seasons in one day. We did not even see half of of the city and we did not visit any shops, museums.

 If we visit again we would like to ride the train to Simon’s town you can get on and off as you like. Some of the stops would be to visit Boulder beach where the penguins are and the little towns are very pretty with good cafes for lunch or coffee. The train travels by the side of the ocean so it is scenic. Another thing that we didn't get a chance to do was ride the cable car to the top of Table Mountain. We can't wait to go back!

We had good travel everything went like clockwork, hotel was good and we had time to just sit and reflect, the Lord is the great provider in all things and we are thankful for the time we spent in Cape Town

We visited Boulder Beach to see the African Jackass Penguins. 

Jenn really likes penguins and enjoyed this part very much. 

We went to the Victoria and Alfred waterfront which was a very fun place with lots of people, music and food.
