We know
Christmas seems a long way off but we have been making plans this year to do
something different for the children of Vuvulane primary school, the majority
of the children, come from the settlements that we serve with Bible studies,
food, clothing etc. and are in desperate
need for a new kitchen ,so in cooperation with the principal and school board
we are planning a sponsored walk and are prayerfully asking you to sponsor a
child $1 for every kilometer walked ,the planned walk will be 10 kilometers and
will hopefully take place before the end of the school year on the 4th
December and all monies will go to the kitchen building project .The school has
about 500 pupils and we feel this is a meaningful way of impacting the lives of
the children now and in the future ,the
parents ,caregivers of these children live below the poverty line and have
little or no means to contribute themselves
