The wooden frames are then filled in with rocks carefully placed together and held with wire. This makes a very sturdy wall and protection from the elements.
Our builder Moses is inspecting the work that has been done. He has been working on Phineus's home and another home with a great sense of urgency and purpose. We see God's hand at work in Moses's life as well.
Phineus and Moses |
The roof is now on, but they weren't able to cover it with plaster (a mud and cement mix) before it started raining. It's been raining non-stop since Thursday. We'll have to wait a few days after the rains subside so that the house can dry out enough to be plastered.
Mkhulu Phineus was moved to tears that people in America care enough about him to rebuild his house.
