It's not all work!

The other day Sifiso, our day guard who is a Christian, came by to check on us. He was carrying a cellophane package like you would have flowers in and he took this tall green thing out of the package. He said it was flowers that he was trying to sell for 30 rand ($4). We look closely and see that it is plastic grass with two small plastic birds. After spending 20 minutes to arrange it in one of my wine glasses and half a roll of aluminum foil later Sifiso leav

es with his 30 rand and we are now the proud owners of this plastic grass and bird arrangement that sits on the end table in a place of honor. There were a lot of laughs while we arranged the grass just right as you can tell by these pictures.
