Phase One-Done

 We're wrapping up our time here in the UK and will be traveling to the States on 3/27. There has been some good visits with family and friends during our stay here. It was cold and rainy for a good part of the last couple weeks and we've missed Swaziland and our family there. We almost didn't recognize the grandchildren as they have all grown up so much in the last three years.

Ian didn't get his favorite meal of liver and onions and we've just had fish and chips a couple of times. Coming back into life in a 1st world country has been a challenge. We've grown so used to our Swazi way of life.

Thankfully, we have had a car and phones provided for us upon our arrival in Little Rock. Also, there has been a lot of support from friends at the Mosaic church. Invitations have been coming in for us to share about Swaziland.

Please pray for us as we travel and adjust to life in the States again. Jenn meets with the surgeon this week and Lord willing, the knee surgery will happen next week. We'll need lots of prayer as we go through the surgery and recovery.

Prayers for save travels

 Ian and Jenn leave for Mbabane tomorrow, Sunday, where they will spend the night before heading to Johannesburg and the UK on Monday. 

Another tropical storm is expected to make landfall in their area tomorrow and already they have been hit with heavy winds and rains resulting in a 7 hour power outage. 


Please pray that there would be a lull in the storm long enough for Ian and Jenn to safely make it to Mbabane and Johannesburg, and flying out of South Africa with no delays. Additionally, please pray that their last few hours in Swaziland would be surrounded with the presence and peace of God. Over the next three weeks, would you continue to lift up Ian and Jenn as they spend time with their families in the UK. 


One more thing, pray for the people of Mozambuique and Swaziland as they prepare to deal with the aftermath of this storm.

Update 3/17: The rains had let up just as Ian and Jenn were to travel to Mbabane. They had a good visit with friends in Mbabane before heading to Johannesburg the next day. All their flights and connections were on time and they made it to the UK safe and sound.   They have been visiting with friends and family in the UK.
